Grape seed extract gets produced from the seed of white grapes. Through an elaborate process, the ingredients are extracted from the seed and then concentrated until an OPC content of 95% is reached.
OPC stands for "Oligomere Proantho Cyanidins". These are secondary plant compounds which belong to the group of flavonoids. They were first discovered in 1948 by Jaques Masquelier. OPC have become increasingly popular in recent years.
