Acerola grows primarily in South America. Because of it's looks, Acerola is often referred to as a cherry, even though these two fruits are not related at all. Acerola has an especially high Vitamin C content. The fruits we use have a vitamin c content of 17%.
Acerola has a slightly sour taste. If mixes will with apple, grape or orange juice. Acerola can also be used in cooking for desserts or as a condiment for game dishes.
